How to Host Origami Owl Jewelry Bar

Hey Owls! And future Owls!!!

 Saturday the Charm Farm hosted a VERY successful party. What made it so successful??? 3 WORDS; Structure, Creativity, and FUN!!!

This is the STRUCTURE I made for my party order. You can show your CREATIVITY and add your own ideas to your party. But NEVER FORGET the FUN!

Order of Origami Owl Jewelry Bar/ 31 party

• Right-Left (Winner Gets Free Dangle!)
Arrange seats into a circle before guests show up. Have them take their seats in a circle and wait for party to begin. The hostess starts off with the Dangle. Give the speech listed on the page named “Right-Left”. Last person holding the Free Dangle gets to add it to their locket!

• Put a Necklace On Hostess

First thank your hostess for having this amazing party. Thank her for the food and introducing you to all her amazing friends and family. Give the hostess a necklace with three dangles. Get guest to take away the dangles in place of hosting a party. They will receive their dangle on the day of their party. When all dangles are gone hostess gets necklace for free.

• How Well Do You Know Your Hostess
Ask 8-10 Questions about your hostess! Whom ever gets the most answers right gets a prize! Some sample questions that I would use are: What is your hostess favorite color? What is you hostess Hometown? Where is your hostess favorite place to travel.

• Which Shoe Are You?
Let guests open seats up to a comfortable place where you are in eye sight. Have them take out the document titled “Which Shoe Are You”. After you give out their number (answers on page labeled “Which Shoe Are You?”) show them the locket that you think they will love.

• Pass the Locket (Winner Receives 10% Off Bag!)
Pass around a large locket filled with charms (even over lapping), encourage the guests to take a good look at it, see how it opens. When it get backs to you hand out the papers labeled “Pass the Locket” and have the list out which charms were in the locket. Whom ever guesses them all correct wins their favorite charm inside the locket!

• Telephone! (Winner receives Free Embroidery!)
Have every person dial your number. Who ever gets you first receives a free charm. After wards tell everyone else to save your number as (Name) Origami Owl.

• Announce Game Winners!

Do tie breakers If necessary. Give the their prizes in front of everyone!

• Have Them Take A Look At Their Folder!

Include in folder; Hostess Reward doc, Spring Catalog, 31 Catalog, Join My Team doc (O2 & 31), Which Shoe Are You doc, New Merchandise doc, Chain Length doc, Swatches doc, and Child Help Flyer while they’re looking begin to show them jewelry.

• Let Them Take A Look At Inventory And Catalog
Give them a chance to breath and figure things out on their own! And also pass around the swatches!

• Start Taking Orders!

• Give the Hostess Her Rewards in Front of everyone!
Let her know prior to its not her real rewards it what she would and could receive for her party. Add a personal reward!

• Clean up!!!
Leave every area cleaner than you found it!

Joining Origami Owl

After joining Origami Owl for my second i feel like a PRO on the steps you need to take in order to be a successful designer.

Step 1: Purchasing Start Up Kit

– This Kit consist of 48 charms, 3 assorted living lockets, 1 twist link locket, 4 assorted chains, 2 assorted bracelet chains, 2 assorted dangles, 2 assorted plates, 1 window plate, 3 assorted tags, 2 assorted tag elements. A pay anywhere post card, A start living dreams guide, 5 simple steps for success, 25 take out menus, 25 order forms, 25 postcard invitation, 6 jewelry bar planners, 12 thank you cards & envelopes, 2 charm trays, 3 pairs of tweezers, 5 glass votives, 6 linen bags, 4 fortune cookies, and an E-commerce website.

All this for a very low cost of $149.00 plus tax & shipping!

Step 2: Knowing your Kit

You can not sell your kit without knowing your kit!

-You need to read all your catalogs know exactly what your offering. You should get to know fun facts about your jewelry. Like the fact that is 100% hypoallergenic and nickle-free. People like to see that you are well educated on your jewelry and that you have an interest in it just as much as you would want them to.

-Next you need to get to know order forms. You have to assist the customers on how to fill it out so before your Launch Party you should know that paper front and back.

– Next get to know your e-commerce website. Understand how to move through it from the customers prospective so you can guide anyone through your site at any time. Figure out how to move through your back office how to get the newest information and how to get all the papers you would need! Lastly, figure out how to import your sales and bring your money from you pay anywhere account to your sale.

Step 3: Getting you table ready

– Your table is a reflection of you. Your table needs to consist of one or all of the three origami owl colors; Teal, Hot Pink, and White. Any decorations you would like to put on your table is allowed. But remember this is your business. Don’t overcrowd your table you want to give your viewers a focal point or it may be over-whelming. There are few items your table will NEED to consist of

• Display linen necks- $5-$10
• One Ceramic Owl (Optional)- $15-$20
• Table clothes- $10
• Bracelet display- $10
• Fake flowers (Optional)- $1
• Charm holder (Optional) $10-$20
• Picture Frames- $1-$20

There are many more things you can add, these are just the basics. Everything on this list can be found on amazon.com for $20 dollars and under. Or any dollar store and crafts store. You can start off small and as you go and you can change your display whenever. There are custom branded table clothes out there, they are a bit more expensive about $50.00-$150.00. My advice would be buy as you go. Don’t spend all your money in one place.

 

Step 4: Setting Up Pay Anywhere

Origami Owl will give you all the information you need to set up your pay anywhere account. But I will give you a quick brief. Pay anywhere is for you to take credit cards using your smart phone. It is very simple you download the app, set up an account, and swipe the card!

This is your first impression, this is where you get to show all your friends and family to see what your selling and what your so excited about! This is also your first and greatest chance to start booking. You need to plan very well for this. Invite as many people as possible!!

 

 

 

 

 

Blog #1 (New Beginnings)

Let’s not talk about the first start. But turning a new page as Origami Owls Charm Farm!! Finally. And doing things the correct way. ON MY OWN. Big things coming. My goal is very much like our Founders, (to buy my own car) Not my first Car though, and not just any car! You guys will see when the time is here. But I hope enjoy following me on this Journey. I will be putting up new things i learn along the way hopefully to help anyone else in Origami Owl or any other direct sales. Or thinking about joining one. At the end of the day we all are one team way!!
